Drawing
I am inspired by my personal ecperiences. Drawing this gives me a sense of hope for my future and reminds me that this hardship isn't something I ever want to go back to. It meants a lot to me, showing me that i am capable of overcoming anything. To make this piece I used mixed media. This includes colored pencil, chalk, and other similar materials.
sweet treat
colored pencil
2014
Drawing
I did this particular piece because my teacher at the time picked it for me, because she wanted to test my limits. I wasn't to excited about it at first, but once I started to add color and different shades I got really excited to see the outcome. Out of all of the art I have done, this is probably the piece I've put the most effort into. This piece is done in colored pencil. After this piece I was inspired to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. My skills started to come through when I did this piece, things I didn't know I was capable of.

2014
Drawing
I created this sea turtle because we were looking for something to zentangle, so I started by searching random images. I chose this because I was excited to see what the shell would look like with all of the different patterns. After I started this project I fell in love with it, and now sea turtles are my new obsession. I've done all sorts of pieces with sea turtles. For this sea turtle I used black and white pens.

I was inspired to create this piece because same sex relationship are something I'm passionate about. I created this piece as a form of self expression. To create this piece I used hot glue, and tissue paper, along with acrylic paint. This piece is also to show my support for everyone else that is a part of the LGBTQ+ community. We're not alone.

PAINTING
2017
I was inspired to do this piece based on my past experiences. We were told to do a texture piece and they go with distorting images. This is a topic I'm passionate about and this piece is used as a form of self expression. The birds flying away is like self harm making your worries fade away. Your "freeing yourself". I used Acrylic paint and a canvas to do this piece.
